In this match Anthony faced a Judo Black Belt and Sambo competitor. Anthony chose to sit guard against the Judo black belt. Anthony’s opponent tried many attempts at passing but Anthony skillfully recovered his guard. Anthony maintained his composure and fought his opponents lead hand making it impossible for his opponent to control Anthony’s head. Eventually his opponent stood up and Anthony was able to put him into De La Riva Guard sweeping his opponent. Anthony was able to pass and with seconds left he finished his opponent with a straight arm lock.
